FREE TIME ACTIVITIES

In my free time, lately I've been choosing to rest rather than recreate, as I have seen myself a bit short on time due to university, but anyway there are two activities that I have not stopped doing and serve to distract me and free me from academic pressure. The first, is to ride a road bike. Due to the limited time I have, the only possibility I've had lately is just to road through the city and climb the hills near to city as the San Cristobal . This activity is mostly practiced individually, but from time to time I also go out with my route partner Diego. Well, we'll have to wait for the holidays to make a great trip. I like this, because it allows me to travel and reach places that only walking could not do, plus how liberating it is for me to ride on the asphalt. And the second activity I love to do in my free time, is to play trumpet or piano in the comfort of my room, so it goes without saying that I do this individually. THE BEST CONCERT I'VE HAD

At the beginning of 2013, the coming to Chile of one of my favorite artists was announced, and from the first moment I knew I had to go. The announced artist was Herbie Hancock, one of the living legends of Jazz. Herbie Hancock is a American keyboardist which was elbowed whit the biggest of the genre, like Pastorius, Davis, Chick Corea, Hubbard and an endless number of great artist. But Hancock is not only a musician who accompanied others, since he is also one of the great. I think it’s one of the biggest jazz fusion influences after the 70s and his album Headhunters is certainly a work of art. Finally came August, and with it the long awaited concert. The concert took place at the Teatro Caupolicán and it was with great musicians worthy of their level. There was a atmosphere in which all present we feel in a kind of intimacy with the artista. It certainly has been my best concert, in which I felt really happy to be able to hear Hancock's keys Live.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

I would like to go to France, for various reasons, but particularly because I would like someday assist to Le Tour de France ,     one of the most important competition on the cycling. To be honest, I don’t know much about the history or culture beyond what we all know, but there is two things in particular that I’m interested, the first is the reason I mentioned on the beginning, really I want can someday assist to Tour de France , and see the greatest cyclists ride across magnificent landscapes, truly a unique experience... It's something like many of us would like to assist football world cup. The second reason, is known closer and with hope, be able to study one of the most important currents of jazz emerged in Europe, the Jazz Manouche, a style outside of the conventional standards or bebop from the forties, created by the gypsies in France, with arrangements what could it look like dirty but with a wealth far beyond the aesthetic. Well, I hope someday make th...
